            當翻開一年半前讀過的《DOOM啟示錄》,那些曾經讓自己興奮異常和充滿激情的文字現在依然觸動我的神經,而且經過這一年半親自參與游戲制作過程,我對其中的一些文字有了更深的思考和共鳴。看著自己以前寫在上面的批注,感慨萬千!不禁問自己的內心,"真的是對游戲失去興趣了嗎?"心底的聲音告訴我,“沒有!”我要做的是改變自己的工作方式,不能讓自己身體上感覺不舒服,否則做什么事情都會厭倦。

            《指揮官基恩》居然還有網站,呵呵,這么古老的游戲了,我下載1: Marooned on Mars 下來玩不了,估計是跑在dos上的。

            03   Who was around when you had your application interview and how did you feel when you entered the "holy hallways" of id software for the first time?

            Robert Duffy: John [Carmack] sent me an e-mail saying they wanted to hire me full time.【注:厲害啊!老大親自邀請,吼吼!】 I went up and talked to him ( and I think Graeme [Devine] was there at the time ) told him I'd get back to him in a day or so and after discussing it with my wife went for it. I was first at id many years ago when DOOM was first shipping, we were looking to license technology for some stuff at the time.

            More recently when I started contracting it was a good impression but a bit intimidating.
