前段時間本博主一直在做Golang和C語言的混合編程,期間在通過cgo調(diào)用C語言庫時會出現(xiàn)程序崩潰的情況,于是就希望能夠生成core文件來查看程序崩潰時的堆棧信息。那么Golang程序如何在崩潰后生成core文件呢?答案就是GOTRACEBACK這個環(huán)境變量。
關(guān)于GOTRACEBACK環(huán)境變量的詳細說明,可以參考官方文檔在runtime一節(jié)的鏈接,這里僅列出文檔中較為核心的說明如下(Golang版本為1.6)。根據(jù)文檔的說明我們可以知道GOTRACEBACK的可選值為:none、single、all、system和crash,其中關(guān)于crash的說明就指出了在Unix系統(tǒng)上,程序崩潰會通過SIGABRT信號觸發(fā)一次core dump。
GOTRACEBACK=none omits the goroutine stack traces entirely.
GOTRACEBACK=single (the default) behaves as described above.
GOTRACEBACK=all adds stack traces for all user-created goroutines.
GOTRACEBACK=system is like “all” but adds stack frames for run-time functions and shows goroutines created internally by the run-time.
GOTRACEBACK=crash is like “system” but crashes in an operating system-specific manner instead of exiting. For example, on Unix systems, the crash raises SIGABRT to trigger a core dump.
另外,雖然官方文檔給出了GOTRACEBACK環(huán)境變量在不同選值下的行為說明,但看起來實在是有些不知所云,這里我們不妨通過一個簡單的程序來驗證一下,畢竟程序跑出來的效果才比較真實。以下是驗證程序的代碼,其功能非常簡單,啟動兩個goroutine,一個正常跑10秒鐘,一個睡5秒鐘之后自行panic。

編譯以上驗證程序,然后在GOTRACEBACK取值為none的情況下執(zhí)行,其結(jié)果如下。由此可知在取值為none時,程序僅僅打印出panic消息,之后程序就退出了。

以下為GOTRACEBACK取值為system情況下的執(zhí)行結(jié)果,此時除了我們明顯知道的三個goroutine的調(diào)用棧信息會被打印出來以外,很多隱形存在的系統(tǒng)級goroutine的信息也被打印出來了。因為本博主還不太了解Golang運行期機制,這里就不對這些系統(tǒng)級的goroutine一一做介紹了,但最明顯的是有用來做垃圾回收的相關(guān)協(xié)程。

以下為GOTRACEBACK取值為crash情況下的執(zhí)行結(jié)果,當然在執(zhí)行之前我們需要修改core文件大小為unlimited,此時打印出來的內(nèi)容與system的情況下基本一樣,除了最后那行代表core dump的提示。另外,在當前目錄下,我們想要的core文件出現(xiàn)了!所以在Linux系統(tǒng)下,crash與system的區(qū)別就是,前者可以生成core文件。

通過gdb命令,我們可以看到程序發(fā)生崩潰時的具體位置,這樣即使崩潰點發(fā)生在C語言庫中,也可以快速定位問題,簡直就是so nice!
