- Substantial knowledge of UNIX/Linux or Windows environments.

- Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems.
- Fluency in English (reading and writing).

- Experience with Unix/Linux or Windows environments, C++, Java, distributed systems, machine learning, information retrieval, TCP/IP and network programming and/or developing large software systems a plus.
- Knowledge of Perl, Python, or other scripting languages a plus.
- 計算機軟件或相關專業本科或以上學歷
- 對解決具有挑戰性的問題充滿激情
- 如有以下經驗更佳：Unix/Linux 或 Windows 開發平臺，C++開發，分布式系統，機器學習，信息檢索，網絡編程，及對大型軟件系統的開發
以上這些職位要求基本上差不多。總的來說，要求真的不多！可以說只要求到有能力！比很多的公司招聘限制少多了，那些公司基本上要求什么都要精通，最好拿來就能用！這就是差距啊。當然了，要求不多并不是說要求簡單，否則的話誰都可以去Google了。真正的好公司都會注重一個人的能力，潛力。比如，對軟件工程師來說，編程能力必不可少，而且必須得很強才行。以前在網上看到有人說，要達到“秒殺”的境界！
當然了，Google還是要求了一些分布式方面的能力，但這些都只是作為一個plus的。唉，不知道這輩子有沒有機會去Google淘金？
